Dear Students,
It is with great honor and pleasure that I extend best wishes to you all on behalf of the entire TMV community. It is our sincere hope that your family and you are well, and able to manage the evolving challenges in the time of a complex global pandemic.
Here at TMV, we aim to provide an education that transforms students through rigorous coursework and by providing an understanding of the needs of society and industry. We are committed to a learner-centred design education pedagogy whereby students are encouraged to explore and discover; experiment and take risks; ask questions and think critically; and research and test ideas in collaboration with their peers and faculty members. Learning is through various independent or integrated ways of seminars, lectures, workshops, group discussions, field work, and hands on methods. We ensure that our students have exposure to various environments, medical cases and avenues.
We believe that education is not just a process of giving knowledge for a future job but a lifelong process which creates an understanding of moral and ethical values to guide one's life in a right path. For achieving this, students, parents and the college authorities must perform as a team and we have to complement each other's efforts as This could be possible only through a collaborative, shared, and consultative work culture.
I have no doubt that you all are very hard working and talented and would make the best of every opportunity that comes your way. My advise to you is plan your time carefully, make the best of all the resources available to you and most importantly enjoy the process of learning! I am sure that your creativity, critical reflection, transformation will fetch our college new medals of glory!
Let us make learning an enriching, fulfilling, and enjoyable experience through a multidisciplinary approach, combining theory and practice in pedagogy. Building on the strong foundation of the college, let us all strive for cautious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall development, paving way for innovative ideas and thinking.
Last but not the least, I am deeply grateful for the presence of an outstanding group of in-house, adjunct and visiting faculty as well as staff and leadership of TMV President and management authorities, who all have worked tirelessly to ensure the best possible learning experience for you at TMV's Indutai Tilak College of Physiotherapy !
